QUAD LFO 03A

The Quad LFO 03a is four simple* VCLFOs on one single space panel. Wide range Voltage Control of frequency with reasonably good tracking for 1V/Oct response. Can be used as simple Oscillators capable of audio range frequencies up to 7kHz creating possibilities for polyphonic experiments. On board internal mixer sums the outputs together without additional mixers. Rate LEDs provided as visual indicators. Panel switches allow the user to select between 0-5V Square and +/-2.5V Triangle waveforms.

Output
Individual outs for the four LFO sections

Rate indicator LED
LEDs are wired to the Pulse wave outputs to give visual indication of LFO rate

Waveform Switch
Three position switch for selecting output waveform and routing
to the internal mixer. Triangle and Square waves are available.
With the switch in the center position, output is disabled.
This allows the user to remove the LFO from the internal mix.

Rate Control
Sets the LFO frequency in conjunction with the CV input.
The full range of the LFO is:

Low Freq.

.0004Hz (1 cycle=41min, 36sec.)

High Freq.
7kHz.

CV Input
The CV inputs can accept a 1V/Octave control voltage.
While not intended to replace the Oscillator 01a in terms of stability, the LFOs will track reasonably well over a 5 octave range after warm up.

Mix Output
Mix output for the combined LFOs. This output is attenuated
by a ratio of 2:1. The summed output of 4 slow Square waves
can exceed the rail voltage of the summing op-amp at +20V
and cause clipping. Primarily intended as a convenience for
simple mixing without external patching. Use of a mixer module
is recommended for more comprehensive control.

Note* For more comprehensive LFO features the
Dual LFO 05a is recommended as well.
