VECTOR FADE 34A
The
VECTOR
FADE 34A is the inverse of the QUADRAPHONIC 33A. Inputs for 4 audio signals
are dynamically mixed together and output as a mono signal. The joystick and
panel controls are used to set the gain of the four signal levels in the mix.
A
post-mix unity gain contour VCA for envelope control is included for final
gain. This design was inspired by the wave mix section of the venerable Prophet
VS synthesisers.
The
34A uses high quality low-noise class A VCAs in an equal power configuration
with typical control range of 75-80dB. This an excellent module for combining
a wide variety of source material such as 4 different oscillator wave forms,
the outputs from multiple signal processing modules or even external wave
mixing of drum loops etc..
This module could also function as a unique final output module as it is in
effect, a 4 channel mixer.
